Personal Bio

I am 34 years old and live in Geelong, Victoria with my boyfriend and two mischievous cats. I enjoy working part-time as a cook and am also studying full-time aiming for a degree in internet studies. I have many interests and enjoy many hobbies particularly arts and crafts. I did have a business selling books on eBay by just decided recently after the death of my dad that I need to stop being busy all the time and take time out to relax and for what really matters; my family and friends.

Why I chose This Topic

Since I was young one of my interests that fascinates me but also scares me is "is there life out there?". I have never really had the time until now to sit down and do any research on the topic but always watch or read current news stories with interest. I have often wondered, as many others have, if we are alone in the universe, and enjoy reading how scientists are finding new planets and far-out galaxies. There is so much out there that we do not know, and that we will never know in our lifetime. I really feel that these new discoveries don't receive the press that they deserve so in this blog I hope to keep you up-to-date with any new findings.
